In class, we will practice the four skills:

Speaking: through grammar practice, conversation, and analysis of relevant content
Writing: through analysis and creation of useful texts
Listening: through audio, videos, podcasts, and phonetics and phonology exercises
Reading: through exploration and study of interesting and up-to-date readings

Types of Classes

🗣️ Conversation Classes

If your priority is practicing your conversational skills and focusing on speaking, you can practice with me. I'll be happy to work with you to help you speak more fluently and confidently, and to increase your vocabulary. In these classes, we'll work on different disciplines of Spanish, such as phonetics, phonology, popular slang, and colloquialisms. We can also cover specific topics such as gastronomy, culture, and other technical vocabulary.

📖 Grammar Classes

If your priority is learning the structure of the Spanish language for professional and academic purposes, we can build your curriculum around grammar, punction, and other technical aspects.

🌍 In-person & Online Classes

You don't need to be in Oaxaca to take classes with me! If you prefer, we can do our classes on digital platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, and more. I also have a wide variety of digital materials at no extra cost. My scheduling is flexible so you will always be able to make time for learning Spanish.

🚶🏽‍♂️Walking Tour Classes

If you'd like a different type of class and are very active, we can also have our walking class in one of the beautiful towns in the state of Oaxaca or in the heart of the city, where you can see the art and architecture of this wonderful city. We can walk through the streets, parks, galleries, and local markets, and try different seasonal fruits, typical foods from the state, and its delicious cuisine.

Local Community Activities

If you visit the city of Oaxaca, I can give you a wide variety of activity recommendations and places to visit, such as: cooking classes, dance classes, ceramics classes, embroidery classes, visits to a "Pueblo Mágico" or one of the beautiful beaches. Oaxaca offers thousands of options and you can encounter an appropriate activity suitable for your tastes.

📚 Exam Preparation

If you are looking to pass an official exam such as the DELE, SIELE, CELU, or another type of official test, whether for a university exam or for a subject, I can help you and provide you with the foundation to prepare, from level A1 (basic) to level C2 (advanced).
